Loss is overwhelming. Parenting is challenging. Loosing love is crushing. Loosing children breaks you. It’s OK to let your strength waiver. It’s OK to let the cracks show. It’s OK to feel you will never be whole again. Let your tears flow.
Witnessing suffering is worse. Watching devastation can destroy you. Experiencing an ending is truly heartbreaking. It’s OK to feel lost. It’s OK to feel you are no longer you. It’s OK to be angry. Let your pain shine through.
Being present is difficult. Unwavering kindness can be exhausting. Getting the rest you deserve can be soul destroying. It’s OK to sleep. It’s OK to rest. It’s OK to forget, just for a while. To remember the years and feel blessed.
Your love is forever. It lives within you. Your caring was everything. But now for you. Getting through this, putting one foot in front of the other, until you can widen your steps and let your courage shine through. It’s OK to waiver. It’s OK to wobble. It’s OK if you need to go back.
Falling is not the end. Getting up it never easy. To carry on is painful. But lean on those who love you. Let them lead your way. Let them take you to where they wait. Ready for the time you need them most. Watching your pain was never easy but we watched your courage flow and the tears you shed will forever be your strength.
