I don’t want to be a ‘No Mum’

I don’t want to be a ‘No Mum’ or a shake your head “is that so?” Mum. I decided long ago that I’m aiming for a ‘sit back and let it all go Mum’.

I wan’t to be a crazy Mum, when everything is kind of hazy Mum, but if I risk sitting still I fear I’ll become a rather lazy Mum.

I want to be a go for a run Mum, take the seven year old and have fun Mum, because sometimes I feel like half a tonne Mum.

I want to be ‘give us a kiss Mum’, a one that finds time for a piss Mum, because that would be kind of bliss for Mum.

I want to be a wild Mum, a sit back and dish out the smiles Mum, but really I think I’m rather a mild Mum.

I want to be a ‘yes Mum’, a brush of the stress Mum, but I look at this mess and the way that I dress and I feel like a damsel in distress Mum.

I want to be a take it easy Mum, so the kids think I’m a cheesy Mum, but when there is one that is wheezy and another who’s queasy, I struggle to be just a breezy Mum.

I want to feel I’m a sure Mum, a stand her ground and endure Mum, not a run for the hills or the door Mum.

I want to be happy Mum, so the kids think I’m a sappy Mum, but reality means I’m sometimes a snappy Mum.

I want to be live on a cloud Mum, a “yes, you’re allowed” Mum, because seriously these kids make me a proud Mum.

I want to be daft Mum, a “who cares if they look like riffraff?” Mum, because I’m an all about the laugh Mum.

I want to be a good Mum, because I would if I should and I could Mum, I just hope I’m an understood Mum.

I know I’m an ‘it’s a slog Mum’, a rarely find time for a jog Mum, a please say yes to a dog Mum???

I want to be the best Mum, a simple get it off your chest Mum and at the end of the day, it’s safe to say, I’m pretty much just a blessed Mum.
