I have decided to take it easy. I am no longer an aspiring super Mum, the one who cooks, cleans, home schools, does an office based job from the dining table. Doer of all the washing in the world (or so it feels), baby whisperer and coordinator of an appropriate craft activity to ease my daily growing Mum guilt, all at the same time. I am now relaxed Mum, one thing at a time, know what’s important and manage multiple simple tasks while calmly explaining adjectives and verbs to my 6 year old.
And it’s all thanks to wine.
